I am so excited that I am at the end of my pregnancy, but starting to also get really scared! I went to the doctor on Tuesday and I am dilated 1.5 cm. He said everything is looking great and I can definitely try for a VBAC. If I make it to my next appointment on Monday he will check me again and decide if he will start me or not. It's a waiting game and not knowing the outcome of the delivery make it hard for me. It's likely I could still have a c-section. I wish I had an exact plan of the delivery, but I know that's impossible. So I am trying to stay positive! However it happens I will finally get to be with my baby boy. That's the important part!
I have some great friends here and they are going to help out with Addy when I have the baby. I am so sad to leave her. It will be fun for Addy to play with her friends and spend some time with her daddy though. We are so lucky that both of our parents will be able to come and spend some time with us. I can't wait! We really miss them!
I want to remember how sweet Addy has been about the baby! It melts my heart every timeshe talks to my belly. She wants the baby to come out so bad. (well at least for now!)
Here are a few things she says to him:
- "Come out and play with Addy"
- " I miss you too baby Benny"
- " Come out and I change your bum bum"
- " I love you baby Benny"
She tells everyone she wants baby Benny to come out and play. It cracks me up! He won't be able to play for awhile but I am happy she will have someone. I really hope she will adjust well. I am nervous for the changes and hope I do ok. I know it will be hard but I am ready to try! I am sure we will have our good and bad days. I all ready lack in the "getting ready" department these days, so I am fine with hanging out at home for awhile. I am so ready to wear my old clothes again. My same 5 shirts are getting really old! I haven't bought myself anything for so long because it feels like such a waste. I do love Christians house pants though!

Ugh--the waiting game...I can't hardly wait for you guys! That page with Addy lovin' on your belly is SO sweet. She has the kindest, sweetest little personality--just like her parents. Benson is one lucky boy! (If he'd hurry up already.)
I love this! I just got all teary eyed at work...thanks! :) Addy is so sweet and I think she will be a great big sister. I can hear her littler voice saying all of those things.
Sorry about the waiting and anticipation. I hate being patient! Hope you are feeling ok, you look great. Keeping my fingers crossed that little man joins you sooner rather than later. Lovins.

I am so excited for you Ashley! It is really nerve racking not knowing what exactly is going to happen but everything will work out. You look amazing and I can't wait to see your sweet baby boy.
