Birthday Celebrations

The first week of October we flew to Utah because I had to get some dental work fixed. My mouth had been hurting for over 2 months. My dentist fixed me up and I can chew again. While we were home, my family celebrated my mom and Addy's birthdays. We had a combined party at my moms house.

Addy in her "party" outfit. She wanted to wear this outfit for my sisters!

Here are the two birthday girls!

My mom ordered Ligori's take- out and made Addy a cute pink cake. While we were waiting for everyone to come, we couldn't keep Addy out of the frosting. She kept sticking her fingers in the side of the cake and licking the frosting. We would ask her to stop but she kept saying, " but it's my birthday cake." She loves frosting! Next thing I know she had her face right up to the cake licking the frosting right off! It was so funny!

Addy was spoiled by my family as usual! Her two favorite gifts were from my sisters. Her very own laptop and digital camera! She took over 200 photos at her birthday party. It cracks me up listening to her mimic what I say to get people to smile at her. She followed behind me taking pictures of everyone. There were a lot of pictures of double chins and close ups of peoples faces!

I really enjoyed spending the time with my family! My grandparents were able to stop by for cake and ice cream. We are always happy to see them! Christian was able to come for Saturday but had to fly home Sunday night. He went to the Priesthood session with his dad while we partied. They hadn't been to a session for a few years together.

On conference Sunday we met Christians family at the Layton Park to listen to the afternoon session. His mom and sisters made a yummy lunch and they had cupcakes and presents for Addy. She is going to be disappointed when she finds out she doesn't get 3 parties every year!

Here is Christian's parents with all 12 of their grand kids.

Singing "Happy Birthday", opening presents, and eating cupcakes.

We were so happy we were able to spend some time with all of Addy and Benson's cousins. They have so much fun together!

The Friday after Addy's birthday we had a little party for her at our house. We invited a few friends and their families over for dinner, cupcakes and ice cream. Addy wanted a Minnie Mouse party. She has really loved Minnie Mouse ever since we went to Disney World. I didn't do a lot, but I thought her banner and cupcakes turned out really cute. I had a lot of fun making them!

Thank you everyone for all the birthday gifts and wishes for Addy. We really appreciate all the love and support we get from our friends and families. It is hard living away and celebrating these special days without our families. Our friends are great and we love them!
Happy Birthday Addilyn!

Wow what a month!

We are finally home from our Holiday vacation. We had such a fun time spending the days with family and friends. I was sad to leave but ready to be back in my own house. We brought home 6 suit cases full plus we each had a bag with us on the plane.( I only took 3 with us!) It is so hard to be gone that long and really know what to plan on.
I have so much to catch up on. Here we go....
I turned 25 a couple weeks ago. Christian took me to a little surprise dinner at Kobe. I had no idea! I thought the two of us were going out for a nice romantic dinner alone. There was a whole room full waiting for us. It was such a great surprise. Christian and my little sister set everything up. My sister got into my phone to get a few numbers while I was taking a nap. I was so surprised they kept it from me. I loved it!

Thanks everyone for coming to celebrate with us! I really enjoyed being able to see you all. Dinner was delicious!

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve with Christian's family. My mother in law always does a fancy dinner, we play games, and watch a play put on by the grand kids.

Check out the layered jello. Isn't it so cute!!!

Madison and Hayden had the costumes picked out for our play. Hayden was Joseph, Savy was Mary, Grady was baby Jesus, Madison, Grandma, and Jellybean were The 3 Wise men, and Cohen was a shark. ( What a cutie!) Grandpa read from the Bible as the kids acted the story out. It's was fun to see how excited they were to play their parts. Last year Christian was the donkey. Where were you at babe?

Christmas Day

We went to my parents house Christmas morning for a yummy breakfast. My mom always makes us a big feast.

Andrea helped Jellybean open all her presents as the rest of us video taped and snapped pictures. She was so funny when she opened her clothes. She loved to try everything out on her head.

Thank you to both our families! We loved being home spending the time with you. Thanks also for letting us live at your houses! We miss waking up and having you there. I hope to be back home to see you all again in March!
I still have more to catch up on but that will have to wait!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

My baby is 1 year old! I can't believe how fast the time has gone by. She has been such a fun easy going baby. We have been so lucky to have her in our life. She is growing so fast. She is crawling everywhere and getting into everything. It's so fun to watch her discover all the new things she can get into. Her little face just lights up when she is surrounded by newspaper. She throws it everywhere! She is our little paper shredder.
Here are a few more things about Jellybean...

-She weighs 18 lbs 4 oz
-She is no longer liking any baby food
- She has 0 teeth
-She hates milk ( even with chocolate)
-She is crawling everywhere
-She is learning to pull herself up to things
-She wears 12- 18 month clothing
-She can say "mom" ,"dada", "baby", "ga ma", & "all done"
- She loves animals from a distance
- She has an obsession with putting her clothes around her neck and on her face over and over again :)

PARTY TIME

It was so fun to be able to come home to celebrate Jellybeans 1 st birthday with our family. We had a little party for her at my moms house last Saturday. She loved opening up her presents. She is good at unloading bags! Alice gave Jellybean her first baby doll. She pulled the binky right out of the dolls mouth and sucked on it. She likes to give that baby lots of kisses. It's so cute! I got her these cute cow girl boots to wear with her outfit at the party. She couldn't move with them on!

I made my first attempt with her birthday cake and cupcakes. Nothing special, but they sure turned out cute! Of course she was a little princess with her cake. She would drag her fingers through the frosting and sprinkles and lick them. She wanted Andrea to eat the cake with her. Chris cut the cake up to see if she would eat any of the center. A few bites and she was done. She loved the ice cream tho! She crawled around to everyone to get bites from their plates! Of course Grandma and Andrea loaded her up with the cream!

It was so fun to have everyone come enjoy our sweet little girl with us. We were lucky that my Grandparents and Aunt were able to come too. Thanks everyone for coming and for all the gifts. The dinner was delicious mom!
