The morning of Benson's birthday, I went and got him a new high chair. It seems silly that he is 1 years old and never had a high chair before. Addy sat in the Bumbo chair until she was 2 with no problem, so I thought maybe Benson would do the same. Silly me! Benson does not sit still and lunges out of the Bumbo. I should have bought him a high chair a few months earlier!

I also fed Addy her EVERY SINGLE MEAL. She ate snacks by herself but that's about it. With Benson being number two, I don't have as much time and I have started to have him feed himself. I have a love hate relationship with meal times with this boy! I love that when he is hungry, which is all the time, I can just put him in the high chair and he can feed himself. I HATE that he throws his food EVERY SINGLE TIME! We are still struggling with eating all table food. He loves it in the beginning, but will only have a few bites before the throwing begins. So I still feed him baby food one to two times a day to make sure he is getting enough veggies and fruits in his diet.
I love the mornings with this boy! He is so happy when he wakes up and is very fun to play with. These are a few pictures after his bath on the morning of his 1st birthday. Of course he has a ball in his hand ready to launch at me!

- He started crawling on his knees a week after his 1st birthday
-He pulled himself up to standing on Feb 24
-He got his sixth tooth
-He gets into anything and everything
-He loves to empty out all the toy baskets by throwing each toy one by one
-His favorite toy is still a ball
-He screams louder and louder by the day
-He likes to attack our faces when he is mad
-He plays peek-a-boo by putting his hands on his head
-He plays so well by himself but loves his sister to play with
-His new words are "Ahey" for Addy and "Ba" for balloon, bottle, and ball
-He loves to give high-fives
