We had a great visit with my parents. This was my dads first time coming to Chicago. It was a short but fun weekend! They arrived late Friday night. Addy was so happy to see them both. Of course it was so cold the entire weekend! We braved the zoo Saturday anyways. It was nice to sit inside for the dolphin show and warm up. My kids love the dolphins the most! We ate in downtown Naperville for dinner and made our 1st stop to the candy shoppe.
We celebrated Benson's birthday Sunday. My mom and I cooked all morning. It was so fun trying a new recipe out with my mom. I knew I wouldn't fail with her help! We all ate way too much! ( the taquitos were even better the 2ND and 3rd time) That night we relaxed and watched Despicable Me.
Monday, Christian and my Dad spent the whole morning changing the brakes on my Jeep. As soon as they were finished the girls headed out Shopping. Addy sweet talked Grandma into getting her a dress from the Disney store and me some new clothes. Gotta love that! We took my parents back downtown to Giordano's for dinner. We ordered some deep dish Chicago pizza! Then it was back for our 2ND round to the candy shoppe.
Tuesday we went into Chicago to the Science and Industry Museum. None of us had been there yet. A lot of things made Addy nervous there. Lucky for her, we all took turns carrying her. But she mostly wanted her papa. We didn't make it through the whole museum but we all really enjoyed it there. We went to lunch and then dropped my parents off at the airport. It was sad to see them go! It was so fun having visitors and I loved how much time they got to spend with my kids.
Thanks again for everything papa and nanny! We love you very much and can't wait to see you guys again soon.

I love how Addy has Craigy-Boy wrapped around her little finger! I'm glad they got to come visit and be there for Benson's birthday.
Also, it made me smile looking at the photos of the final day. You can totally tell your mother got an Ashley-do before she left--the pictures of her hair from that final day look fabulous. You, my dear, really are a miracle worker!
That was such a fun trip. It makes us want to come again. Everybody looks so happy. Thanks again for the weekend and especially for the do.
How fun to have the Grandparents come to you this time! I always love when we have visitors cuz we eat so many great things and go see so many fun things that we just don't do by ourselves!
Looks like you guys had a fun time. I am glad. Papa Craig just can't help himself with those kiddos. Im glad you always take picture to document the occasion. Miss you!
p.s. I need to see her in her new Belle dress. We should Skype soon.
Looks like you guys had so much fun! We had a Science and Industry Museum pass the first year we lived here and we went SO many times! It was always so much fun!
