I am playing catch up but didn't want to leave out a few of these pictures...
Addy's favorite chores to do-
Dishes
Watering the flowers
All summer long she would tell me "my flowers are so thirsty I need to give them a drink." I think she just likes to play in the water, but we would water them anyways. It's so different not having sprinklers or watering on a regular basis and still having the grass and plants so green. That maybe the only plus side of humidity.
Benson has two teeth now. The first one broke through a little before he turned 6 months and the other followed two weeks later. He bites everything! I didn't know what to expect with teething this time around since Addy didn't get any teeth until she was 14 months old.
These are just a couple of pictures of the kids playing after Benson's morning nap. Benson still really hates being on his stomach so Addy and I always lay on the floor with him trying to get him to like it more. But it doesn't always work. He was happy playing with us on this morning for a lot longer than usual.
Christian and I took the kids to Chicago to the Lincoln Park Zoo and to the beach. It was a really fun day! This is our least favorite zoo as far as animals go, but the atmosphere is fun. The best part for Addy was the little train ride.
Addy loved playing in the sand at the beach. She and Christian built a sand castle and dug lots of holes. The water was way too cold for either of the kids to want to play in.

love the pics! i love that you said that the green may be the 'only' plus side to the humidity. lol. i think i agree because i can't think of anything else that's good about it. :) hope you're having a great trip! can't wait to hear all about it. :D
Oh such cute pics!! I love seeing little Benson. He is getting so big. Love his two little teeth! Cash has 8 teeth now. Can you believe it? These little boys grow so fast. I haven't talked with you in a while but I hope everything is going good for you guys. Miss and love you!

Ashley those pics are so cute!!!! I had to laugh when you said that the Lincoln Park zoo was the least of your favorites because it actually is one of our favorites... probably b/c it's free:) I can't believe how big Benson is. Hope you are having fun in the sun and I am so jealous!!!!! You are going to have to tell us all about it when you get back.
Your kids are so beautiful! It is so adorable when they play together. I love that Addy likes to wash the dishes! Hold onto that one. :)
So CUte! love the beach pictures!!! To bad we never made it there. But I can't believe Benny has 2 teeth now!!! He's gonna have a whole mouth full soon!!! :) Hope your having fun on your vacation!!!
What fun pictures. Addy is too cute! Hold on to her love of dish washing :) As for Benson boy, he seriously is so handsome. Love those pictures in hi grey shirt. Love you guys! I am so glad we got to spend a week together...I miss you already.
