I finally got all my pictures together to get updated. It's so hard playing catch up!

Jellybean turned 17 months old 2 weeks ago. oops! We were at the library this last week and I snapped a few pictures of her. It is getting so hard to get this little chic to look at me!

She is a cute little stinker though!

The last weekend in April we went to Las Vegas for Linda's ( blue dress) 60th Birthday party. We had a blast! It was a nice get away for Christian and I. We stayed out really late and had a good time with my family. Check out some more pictures Rookie posted of one of our nights out on the strip. We left Jellybean home with Christians mom and dad. She had so much fun being there and getting to play with some of her cousins. I know she really enjoyed seeing them.

While I was home Alice went through the temple. I was so happy Christian and I were able to be there with her. We are so proud of you Alice!

Christian had a whole Saturday off our last weekend home so we took full advantage of the day. The weather was great. We went to Gardner Village and walked around the shops. I really wanted to check out the fabric shop! Chris and Jellybean stayed outside and watched the ducks while I chose a few last pieces for my fabric stash. We checked out more shops, grabbed a snack at the bakery and headed to Sugar House Park. We had a great time playing at the park. Jellybean wanted to swing but it was making her so nervous. She also loved throwing the bread to the ducks.

We stayed with Alice for the last couple of days of our trip. Jellybean loved to play at her computer desk. She was typing up a storm! She would make one CUTE little secretary!

Since I have been home I have been trying to learn to quilt. I really need to take a class or two to learn some tips. I just finished my 3rd baby quilt top yesterday. I will post some pictures of those next. It's not as easy as I thought it would be! It really makes it rough if you don't have an accurate seem. Well I guess I will just have to keep practicing. :)

Vacation and STRESS....

Last week my mom, my sisters, Jellybean and I went on a girls trip to Vegas. We went down to see and stay with some family friends. It was Jellybeans first time on an airplane. She was really good on the way down until the very end of the flight. She cried and screamed for what felt like forever. I could not get her to drink any juice, nurse, or suck on her binky. So I'm sure her little ears were hurting her. Luckily on the way home she fell asleep when we were taking off and slept the whole flight.

We had a yummy BBQ, went shopping, and swam a little. On Monday it was 109.... Too dang HOT! It cooled down the next day a little but not much. Something was in the air down there because my sisters and I all had bad allergy attacks. Poor Andy was the worst!

Jellybean loved our friends dog. She would scream at him to get his attention. At first he scared her a little but before no time she wanted him always by her.
The Carlson family has an annual trip to Jackson Hole for Memorial Day each year. Chris and I have gone the last 3 years together, but he has been going with them for a long time. The guys get up every morning and go fishing and we have a fish fry Sunday night for dinner. We usually go to the shoot out in town but this year it was rained out. We did a little shopping and walked around town. Chris and I went into a shop that had tons of animals everywhere. They still creep me out even though they are stuffed. I had to get Jellybeans picture with the cute bear.

This year we had I think about 37 people. We rented 2 condos and had a party! It was very relaxing and fun! Our friends are great. Thanks for a fun weekend!

GOOD and BAD news...

Good news is... we don't have to move to Chicago.

Bad news is... Christian got laid off.

His company is so screwy. One minute they want us to move across the country and the next minute they decided to do away with his job. I don't get it. Whatever! At least we were still here when it happened.

I hope his CEO feels good about himself and can sleep at night!

Viva Las Vegas

On Saturday Christan and I flew to Vegas to meet up with Shanda and Tyler and his brother and girlfriend. It was the first time I have left Jellybean over night. Luckily my sister Alice was more than willing to come stay with her. It was really hard for me to leave her but the time with Christian was definitely needed! We had so much fun! Here are a few pics at the race way.

It was very windy... I look bad!

The boys were gearing up to race. The cars go 75 mph! They got to go around the track 2 laps to try and get the fastest time. I laughed so hard watching Chris. His whole body would shake when he would cut the corners sharp. He looked so silly! I am glad they had fun!

Christian got the best time! Car #9. Good job Babe!

Shanda couldn't ride since she is pregnant so we just watched our husbands and laughed.

This is Christian trying to pass a kid on another track. He started at the back and ended up fighting his way to the first. There was a couple of older men on the track that Christian was trying to get in front of. They would bump each other trying not to let the other one pass. With his mad driving skills he passed them up.

It's so funny to see all these men acting like little boys again!

Later that day we went to Mandalay Bay to the Shark Reef and to Sushi for dinner. Dinner was so YUMMY!
Thanks guys for a fun time!

Alice and the Rookie took Jellybean to the park while we were gone. They met up with Chaos and her kids for a fun afternoon. Isn't she so cute!

THANKS again for taking such good care of my little sugar!
