Before Benson turns 1 tomorrow I thought I better post some pictures I took of him at 11 months.
I probably say this too much, but man this little guy is handsome! I am not sure where he gets his looks from, but I know it's not from me. He is at such a fun and playful age! He loves to play ball. We sit and roll (or throw) the ball back and forth all the time. He loves everything about this game. As soon as the ball leaves his hands he is shaking in excitement! He makes all sorts of noises until the ball comes back. It is so funny! If the ball gets away from one of us he crawls to it and brings it all the way back to your lap.
Here are some more things about Benson at 11 months:
- He is wearing 12-18 month clothing
- He is army crawling to get around and he is very fast
- He just figured out how to get himself up in the sitting position
- He hates baby food and is pretty much done with it
- When he is feeding himself he always rubs the food in his hair
- He loves sugar (just like his mommy)
- He is drinking milk now and loves it
- He got his 5th tooth
- He still hates anything on his feet. The second his socks are on he is pulling them off. He usually puts them on his head.
- He has a new obsession of throwing things down our stairs
- He is very wild in the bath and loves every second of it
- Addy is his best buddy and favorite person to play with
- He likes to color with Addy. He can color a little but mostly just likes to eat the crayons and throw them down the stairs.
- He loves listening to music. At bedtime he listens to the Children's Songbook as he falls asleep.
- He is a great sleeper and is still taking 2 long naps every day
- He has cute rosy cheeks
We have all really enjoyed this stage with Benson! It is so fun being able to interact with him. He is such a good independent player like Addy is. I love that he can play with Addy or just roam and play by himself. He is such a great baby and I love him so much!
