Addy Turned 4!.... October 2011

My baby girl turned 4 years old! She is growing up so fast. Addy is a silly, spunky, smart, and feisty little thing. She has such a fun personality and is very grown up for her age. She really knows how to work her daddy and loves every minute she spends with him. Addy has a very sweet and tender side to her. She tells me how much she loves me all day long and when I get ready she always says how beautiful I am. She is a keeper for sure! She loves to dress herself and is really into jewelry. She is getting really good at writing her name as well as a lot of other letters. She is really into crafting and loves to do projects. She is 3 ft. tall and weighs 36 lbs.

Christian surprised Addy by taking the day off from work. He is never able to do that so it made her day extra special. He got to take her to school and see her classroom for the first time. She was so excited to take treats to her class. Once she was done at school we went to the Brunswick Zone and went bowling, played arcade games, and rode rides. Addy loved bowling and was so excited for every turn. Benson liked it for about two seconds and had more fun jumping off a step and running around.

Both Addy and Benson loved playing games. Benson is quiet the little basketball star and made 4 out of 6 shots in a row. He has good form and sure made his daddy proud!

Addy was the only kid riding rides. She kept the worker busy running from one to the next. They had six rides total and she rode each one 3-4 times. She could have stayed all night! Benson was able to ride the carousel and had so much fun on the horse.

Her last request was to go to Downtown Naperville and spend the evening. It was a warm night and we enjoyed walking the river walk. We ate dinner outside on the patio and got her some birthday gelato.  It was late when we got back home so we quickly opened presents before she went to bed. She definitely had a great birthday!

She had birthday packages that came all week long from our families. She loved getting surprises through out the week. We have the best families!

Later that week Addy had her first friend birthday party. We had a Halloween themed costume party. She really wanted a "dolphin party" but I didn't know quiet how to pull that one off. Maybe another year! She was so excited to give out invitations and help get things for her party.

The kids played pin the spider to the web, witch hat ring toss, and did a spooky cake walk. We had lots of Halloween food and yummy treats.

The kids were all so well behaved and very calm. I expected chaos and was so shocked how quiet and calm the kids were. Definitely not normal for a party but I will take it!

Addy is so lucky to have such great friends here! They made her feel extra special and she loved having them over. Thanks again to everyone that came!
