Baby Food
I started feeding Jellybean baby food this last week. She still does not like rice cereal. I decided to skip that and move on to the fruit and veggies. I gave her bananas very first. She did not like them at all! I heard a lot of babies like sweet potatoes so we tried some next. She loves them!
For some reason I can't keep it off her nose!
The only bad thing about that is, her spit up is orange and she had a massive orange blow out! I just purchased her some new white undershirts and 3 of the 5 are ruined! I am still trying to get them back to white! Favorites...
- Green beans
- Carrots
- Sweet potatoes
- Apple Sauce
- White grape & apple juice
Gag worthy...
- Bananas
- Peaches
- Rice cereal
Daddy's Favorite thing in the world! He loves to snuggle his baby and have a little snooze!

How sweet a Daddy and his daughter. I loved the times my kids would sleep while I held them. Now they are getting to be too big.
Trying new foods is always fun. The bad thing is they come out looking much like they did when they went in.
She is too cute. I am sorry about the new undershirts. That sucks. I guess at least they are "undershirts" :)

You know, my least favorite baby stage is feeding them babyfood. I like it when they nurse and when they can feed themselves. I think it may be just that it is one more thing to do.
She is just darling!
My Squishy is a sweet potato fan. She likes squash and carrots too. But not the Gerber peas. They taste like chalk. If you give her peas, do yourself and her a favor and buy the Beech Nut sweet peas...they are much nicer.
Oh, and if you doctor up the oatmeal with a little cinnamon and brown sugar, they like it better. ;) I do that just before bedtime and she sleeps SO much better. But I am a rotten mom who also sticks binkys in whipped cream, apple jelly and ice cream. Shhhhh. Don't tell.
One more thing. Have you ever eaten peaches and then have her poop smell like peaches? My babies always do. Interesting.
And that last picture of her with her daddy? PRICELESS! Moments like that are the BEST!!!
I'm so happy she is transitioning over and liking it! But that also means she's getting so big. Bummer on the undershirts (pun was possibly intended there).

Sweet potatoes were Sutton's favorite (my favorite too). She's moved onto table foods now and refuses anything pureed! What a cute picture of you sweet family napping!
Razy is hates the rice cereal too. I have to sneak it into her fruits and veggies. She really didn't like peas at first, but after a few times she will atleast keep them in her mouth. We too have ruined many clothes, but it is becuase Razy somehow knows how to make a mess under her bib. Now that she is on solids we are wishing she would have a blow out. I am tired of every diaper there being a small little terd. We finally bought some prunes. I feel bad that it has come to this, but what is a mother to do.
