It's About Time!

Yahoo!! Jellybeans bedding is finally finished. I started making her bedding while I was pregnant with her. Alice and I spent some great time trying to find fabric that coordinated with each other. I even had to wait 4 weeks for the flower material to be special ordered. Well needless to say I only had one bumper made and the quilt needed the binding done when Jellybean was born.
I figured I still had plenty of time because she would be sleeping in my room for awhile. Healing from my c-section, figuring out how to be a mom, and a move to a new house really set my projects further back. Jellybean has been sleeping in her own room for about 2 months now. I was disappointed every time I showed someone her room and it wasn't finished.
My mom came to my rescue and helped me finish today. I love how it all turned out!

Here is a closer picture of the quilt.

My mom is my lovely sewing assistant. She irons and pins for
me to help the projects go more quickly. Thanks mom!

This is Jellybeans first and only nap of the day. I think she misses her
daddy too much to sleep!

Poor little Jellybean. She is definitely having a time huh. Is she still letting out those screams?

You did a great job. I am going to be making a blanket for my friends granddaughter. I will have to post some pictures when it is done.

I LOVE it! So dang cute. I knew it would be, but seeing it ON the crib is so much better.

And that sweet Jellybean with ehr squealing! Her blanket over her head makes me laugh.

Now we just need to hang everything up on the walls!

Hello from Woodruff. Alice gave me your blog address and I am so glad. I love being with the Elaine family at family functions. Now when we get together I won't feel so behind in all ya'll lives.

Now about that quilt. I am impressed! Did you do that rolled tube binding? I don't know the official name for it. I just made my first baby quilt and gave it to Rachel for her baby. Remember Rachel was that teenager that we raised for two years. A picture of it is posted in January under Rachel's baby shower on my blog.

Good job again on the quilt. See a later. I'll be checking out your life more often, hope you are good with that.

Love,
your cuz,
Crystalyn
