Vacation and STRESS....

Last week my mom, my sisters, Jellybean and I went on a girls trip to Vegas. We went down to see and stay with some family friends. It was Jellybeans first time on an airplane. She was really good on the way down until the very end of the flight. She cried and screamed for what felt like forever. I could not get her to drink any juice, nurse, or suck on her binky. So I'm sure her little ears were hurting her. Luckily on the way home she fell asleep when we were taking off and slept the whole flight.

We had a yummy BBQ, went shopping, and swam a little. On Monday it was 109.... Too dang HOT! It cooled down the next day a little but not much. Something was in the air down there because my sisters and I all had bad allergy attacks. Poor Andy was the worst!

Jellybean loved our friends dog. She would scream at him to get his attention. At first he scared her a little but before no time she wanted him always by her.
The Carlson family has an annual trip to Jackson Hole for Memorial Day each year. Chris and I have gone the last 3 years together, but he has been going with them for a long time. The guys get up every morning and go fishing and we have a fish fry Sunday night for dinner. We usually go to the shoot out in town but this year it was rained out. We did a little shopping and walked around town. Chris and I went into a shop that had tons of animals everywhere. They still creep me out even though they are stuffed. I had to get Jellybeans picture with the cute bear.

This year we had I think about 37 people. We rented 2 condos and had a party! It was very relaxing and fun! Our friends are great. Thanks for a fun weekend!

GOOD and BAD news...

Good news is... we don't have to move to Chicago.

Bad news is... Christian got laid off.

His company is so screwy. One minute they want us to move across the country and the next minute they decided to do away with his job. I don't get it. Whatever! At least we were still here when it happened.

I hope his CEO feels good about himself and can sleep at night!

Chicago...

Christian and I had so much fun on our quick trip to Chicago. It is such a nice city! Nothing what I expected it to be. I thought for sure it was going to be really scary and dirty. It was the exact opposite. I am sure it has it's scary places but for the most part it's a business district. It's different to see the busy streets in the morning with everyone walking to work.
There are so many great places to SHOP and to eat. I could definitely go broke there! They have so many beautiful churches and historical buildings. ( I did not see one LDS church.) We were minutes away from Lake Michigan. So Beautiful! It looks like the ocean. There is a walk way that runs the shore and onto the Navy Pier. We walked around the pier in the crazy wind. Christian insisted on taking a picture of my lovely hair-do. I hate the wind!!

My surprise of the trip was tickets to go see "Wicked" at The Ford Theatre. It was my very first Broadway play. I loved it! The music was so fun and I loved the characters of the witches. I definitely recommend seeing it if you ever get the chance.
We still are not any closer of knowing if or when we are moving to Chicago. Christian is just waiting for his company to make their final decisions. It will for sure happen we just don't know the details. He will be still working for the company as a "stock broker". His office is on the Chicago River about 15 min from Lake Michigan. We checked out some places to live right down town. What an extreme change for me! We would have to sell one car and probably some furniture. We would walk or ride a bike everywhere. I guess we better purchase us both one :).
It will be an adventure for us. I was hoping to get pregnant next summer but I might hold off a little longer if I am away from our families. I guess we will just have to wait and see.
If we do go.... we would love all the visitors we can get!!!

Jellybean is 7 months old!...

Wow is she getting BIG! She can almost stay sitting up on her own. She loves to play with anything and everything she can get her hands on.

She still enjoys hearing herself scream and she jabbers a lot. She is learning to wave and clap her hands and loves just about all the baby food I give her.
Jellybean is such a joy in our lives. She is such a sweet little baby. We love her so much!

I had a little photo shoot with her today in some new clothes I just purchased. ( I can't resist the baby section!)

Her little face is so sweet! I can never get enough of her!

Chicago here we come...

Christian and I are leaving for Chicago early tomorrow morning. We are going back there to check out a job and a little get-a-way for our Anniversary. We are leaving Jellybean for the second time. She is going to stay with her grandma Jamie.
If we take this job we won't be moving for awhile, but I am all ready FREAKING out! Chicago is so far away! I guess I can't get myself worked up about it until it's time.
What do you think about the move? Any good places you know about close to Chicago?

Afternoon at the Park...

We got ready for church today and made a mad dash out the door to only find out nobody was there. Today was Regional Conference and we had no clue! I was sad to hear Brother Eyring spoke and we missed out on his talk.
Chris and I have not taken Jellybean on a walk together for a long time. So we headed for the park to enjoy the nice sunshine.

We just started putting Jellybean in her stroller without the car seat now that it is warmer. She loves to be able to see what is going on instead of staring at me.

Jellybean was extra thirsty!

Chris and I have not had our picture taken together for so long!

We forgot our bread to feed the ducks!

I can't get enough kisses!

Jellybean loved her walk today! It puts her to sleep every time.
